Sniper's Paradise!
Replacing the Castle flyby intro
Open your Unreal.ini file (located in your Unreal folder) with a text editor or with notepad. Do NOT use word.
At the very top of the Unreal.ini file are the lines:
[URL]
Protocol=unreal
ProtocolDescription=Unreal Protocol
Name=Player
Map=Index.unr
LocalMap=Unreal.unr
Host=
Portal=
MapExt=unr
SaveExt=usa
Port=7777
Find the line that reads "LocalMap=Unreal.unr"
Change that line to read like this:
LocalMap=Entry.unr
When you start up Unreal you will be jail cell as if you were waiting to join a multiplayer game. You will also see that Unreal also loads faster.
You can edit the local map to be any map you want Unreal to start up in. For example you could use a Lobby Portal Map like SP3Lobby as your "localMap" and when you start up Unreal you would be in the SP3Lobby Portal Map. Then you would be able to pick a skin and go into a SP server.
