Editors/Editing

- VUC++: this is a custom editor written by DrSiN to take all the features of VC++ but remove all the headaches and merge it with UT to make an Unrealscripter's life easier.

- Textpad: a nifty all around text editor that support syntax highlighting and macros (among other things). grab the file and put it under your samples directory to add syntax highlighting support for uscript.

- upad: is a nice little editor made specifically for uscript and supports all the basic text editor functions plus syntax highlighting & line numbering. unfortunately it does have a couple issues working with tabs every once and a while, but other than that it is very useful.

- u s e: uscripted, a good editor still under development...works very well once you get it setup properly. definitely worth checking out.

- TerrainEd: this is a terrain editing/creation utility for mappers to use, created by pfhoenix.

- UClasses: is a sweet little program by meltdown that provides a class viewer for unreal/ut, and has builtin support for compiling via ucc...amongst other nifty features. definitely a good tool for any uscripter to use.

- WOTgreal: a nifty UnrealScript editor with a whole bunch of useful features (including the ability to extract meshes from .u files).

Model Tools

- 3ds2unr: if you're going to be adding models to your mod, most likely you will need to be able to convert them for .3ds to unreal's native format. thats where 3ds2unr comes in...check out the documentation for more info.

- modeltool: is a program written by andrew to convert quake/quake2 models to unreal's format, letting you use old quake modelling programs for adding basic models to unreal/ut.

- u3d: u3d is a spiffy 3ds->unreal model file converter by Mr.Beard. definitely a good alternative to 3ds2unr.

Misc.

- UnDox: UnDox is an Unrealscript documentation tool written by E. Bruce Shankle III that will parse Unrealscript into handy HTML documents.

- moslo: is a program that'll slow down your cpu, useful for when ut is just getting too many fps.

- umod wizard: once you're ready to distribute your mod, nab this program and do it right. also check out dpms, a player mesh/sound switching system that can save you alot of trouble.

- botwatcher: this little bad-boy gives you a new scoreboard which shows more detailed info about the bots in the game.

- cosmic unreal tools: check out the new console, damn useful for finding out info on just about anything.

- malifice's linked list class: go grab this if you're in need of a linked list in unreal/ut. save yourself some trouble of writing your own and use this excellent tool.
