When my appointment with Infogrames started Meridith pulled me aside and said "Go sit and here and watch." Uh, ok. I sit down and behind sits Marc Rein from Epic and in walk three guys from Legend Entertainment (among them Mike Verdu). This is going to be really good I thought to myself and my expectations were exceed bigtime. Mike sat down and said something like thanks for coming to the this special showing of Unreal 2 - jackpot! We sat there for a good 25 minutes while Mike took us through demostrations of graphics behind Unreal 2, the AI, the team controls and more. (Side note: there is a tape of this meeting that exists and is in the process of being remastered for quality). Let me just say that Legend Entertainment is doing right by the Unreal franchise. For more details read the article I wrote after seeing the game that day.

Thanks goes out to James from Digital Extremes for the awesome demo he showed of Unreal Championship. The story of this showing is similiar to that of Unreal 2 - in fact, it was right after the Unreal 2 showing. I get up to leave the room and Meridith from Infogrames says to sit back down, I am going to want to see this. After last time I know to listen to Meridith by now - they fire up Unreal Championship on a Dev Xbox and let me tell you I was blown away. For a detailed description check out my Day One Recap.
Republic: The Revolution is going to be a very talked about title. The AI in it is incredible. The sheer scope of the game is very impressive. Check out a more detailed article about the game here.
