Before getting started you should read the Keyboard Shortcut and the Tool Bar Reference. Print these out and keep them handy.

If you don't have it already, download the Unreal Unoffical Help This will "pop up" when you press F1 in the editor. This is the latest version 05.

If you are new to UnrealEd the read the Basic Tutorial first. It is a Beginners Guide to UnrealEd. Once you have the basics down, then proceed on with the more advanced tutorials.

These tutorials were written specifically for the original UnrealEd for the game Unreal. If you are editing for a different game, all the basics are the same, only you will need to ignore/adapt any Unreal-specific content referenced in the tutorials.
